What is the State Bar of Wisconsin?
In order to practice law in Wisconsin,
lawyers must belong to the State Bar. So, the State Bar consists of Wisconsin
lawyers. The State Bar's mission, as decided by the Wisconsin Supreme Court, is
to:
- help the courts in the administration of justice;
- help lawyers to be competent, educated, and ethical;
- help educate the public about our legal system, and
- promote the delivery of legal services to the people of Wisconsin.
